We stayed at the property as part of a 10 member family group. The location is beautiful, a gated and secure community, with the villa being oceanfront. Amazing views and access to 4 nearly private beaches for swimming and snorkeling. The staff is incredibly helpful, as is the property manager Chantalle. Also recommend using the chef service for at least part of your trip, the meals were delicious. A heads up that all bedrooms have AC, but the kitchen and family area do not, just an FYI for summer travel. We had a wonderful time and would recommend.

We visited for our sons wedding and had an incredible time. The property is very clean and tidy with great layout for entertaining and socializing. The management very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend getting a chef So convenient and delicious. Also had some massage therapists come to property also highly recommended.

Had an amazing trip/stay with a group of 10 adults. The house is located in a gated community that felt very safe and was about 30min from the Puerto Plata airport. The house was even nicer than the photos with 5 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Air conditioning and plenty of seating areas. The location of the house within the gated community was great too, with an ocean view and small walking paths along the ocean. Large swimming pool just for the house and a larger community pool ~20m farther away from the house. We paid to have a private chef (Chef Jesus) who was amazing and extremely flexible with dietary restrictions etc. The only negative we found is there isn't a great beach within the gated community although there is beautiful ocean views and sitting areas. Overall the host was very responsive and helpful and the house/location was perfect for our vacation, would definitely recommend it.

The house was perfect for our group. Seahorse Ranch is a very special place and I believe this property is the best lot in the entire development. The ocean view and proximity to the Beach Club can’t be beat. The beds were comfortable and clean. Our housekeeper, Fior was exceptional. She was very friendly and did a great job. She was so accommodating to our daily schedule and just wonderful. The AC in the bedrooms along with blackout curtains, made sleeping so comfortable. There’s a few things that would make the house even better like softer pillows, updated beach towels and more than 4 pool lounges would be really nice too. To be totally truthful, the home could use a little furnishings upgrade, but don’t get me wrong, it is a wonderfully located home with 4 nice en-suite bedrooms and an additional 5th bedroom that is a little more simple. We had a few minor things happen, but the host dealt with them immediately. It was an overall wonderful stay and we would return.

Well our family does not even know where to start! This house and vacation was everything we could ask for or imagine. The views, location, and amenities of this house will take your breath away! It felt as if we were on our own private oasis. We had a private pool, free form pools directly below us and beach access at three different areas. None of these areas were crowded or populated. We had almost everything to ourselves. There was daily house service to help with laundry, dishes, and clean up! Lydia was part of that staff that made everything perfect! Always willing to help, showed up everyday with a smile, and even offered to pick up items from the store for us. We had a chef one night and the food was unbelievable. Another day we had two massage therapists come and that was equally amazing! Chantelle answered every question and arranged rides, repairs, and anything else we needed. Thank you Caribbean Dreams and staff for a one of a kind memorable experience! Brian and Joelene

We absolutely loved this villa, location and the service! We traveled as a group of 7 for my 30th birthday and had such an amazing time! Our trip was a longer weekend (Thursday Morning to Sunday Afternoon). This property has the best location because it’s setback from the private community’s trail to the beach club restaurant, so there’s easy access right in front to beach cliffs, the shared lagoon pools, and a beach alcove (all shown in listing pictures). Note these are shared amenities, as at first we thought they were all private. The pool directly behind the house is for private use only, and there’s a generous and well-maintained lawn so we were able to kick around a soccer ball as a group. The house staff even picked up really cool pool floats for us! The bedrooms each have their own controlled AC unit which was key. The bedrooms are separated so that there’s a wing of 2 king rooms and 1 dbl queen room each with private bathrooms (one king room has an oceanfront patio). Then there’s a queen room a bit more privately placed after the staff entrance/laundry room behind the kitchen area. We did not use this room as we didn’t need it. The master suite is amazing with a private outdoor entrance (no access from main house) and a giant bathroom with 2 showers (one outdoor) and a soaking tub. The staff was top notch!!! We hired a chef and bartender/server, and the property comes with an airport driver, daily housekeeper, and a daily grounds-keeper/gardener. I would definitely recommend hiring the extra chef + bartender/server staff because you are taken care of 100% and can relax completely on vacation. We sent a daily food menu in advance to the staff with drink pairings and every single thing was picked up, prepared, and served to us perfectly! They even spent the whole day with us so if there were drink or snack requests to bring to the beach or have in the yard they were so accommodating. We did the horseback riding excursion on the ranch property/beach, and hired private masseuses to come after, which was all also amazing! They also offer at-home COVID testing which makes everything easier. We did not have to leave the ranch property once, and it felt like we were at a private resort the whole time! The security for the community is great! They had guards with rifles that walked the common grounds paths at all times, which at first was alarming but really did make us feel safe. There is a gate with a guard booth at the entrance to the community, and then at every turn through the drive to our villa after the guard booth there was a guard at each corner with a radio communicating. It definitely made us feel safe! The house is also pretty set back and secluded from the entrance to the community, and surrounded by beach cliffs at the waterfront. Do your research before regarding rates and expectations in the area. We ended up spending a bit more than we thought in groceries and booze. Overall, I would definitely recommend!!! And would love to come back :)

We had a wonderful time here it really is paradise , the ocean view is way better in real life than in the photos and a quick walk just past the grass you get to a little sandy beach perfect for playing in the sand and watching the waves but this one is a bit too wild to get in . There’s an ocean view from from the patio, pool and from two bedrooms . You have direct breeze and sounds of the waves it was wonderful. There’s enough sofas and comfortable chairs for everyone to relax and sit together. The large garden is great to play with kids or just take a walk on. Sea horse ranch on its own is really beautiful it has beautiful pathways to walk with huge old trees overlooking the ocean , a good restaurant and bar , and we went to visit the horses as well. There are a couple of small beaches along the pathway with little caves - the last one was beautiful for sunset . One thing to note when coming with a group , there’s one bedroom that doesn’t have any nice large windows , and a very small bathroom but all the other rooms are really nice with their private patio. We had chef Jesus, he was great. And the housekeeper Virginia was great as well . My only complaint was for the master bedroom there isn’t really enough hot water to enjoy two showers at once , or to fill up the tub in one time you have to wait for the tank to heat up agai

The house was spacious and offered a perfect indoor/outdoor experience with views to die for. Lots of outdoor spaces for a family to spread out or come together. It is steps away from what feels like a private beach—something right out of a picture book. The beautiful lagoon pools are right outside the yard and the clubhouse is a quick stroll away—a great place for an afternoon cocktail or bite to eat. The stables are beautifully kept and were a wonderful way to spend a few hours. The staff was superb. They rate A+. I highly recommend hiring Chef Jesus as a personal chef. It truly made our holiday a vacation. The hot water was not consistent and really represented the only problem that we had. But Chantelle, our concierge was responsive and accessible.

Exceptional Caribbean Vacation Place!
This is the PERFECT place to help make the PERFECT family vacation or reunion! Extraordinary setting, views, facilities, amenities, and options to keep everyone having a fabulous time.I don’t know of anyplace where you have massive living space indoors, but also outdoors (under the porches), AND a pool and lawn. The bathrooms and kitchen are terrific, but the 15 of us ate every meal outside on the porch. Everyone, ages 3 to 70 had plenty of room. Some kids wer in the huge pool, others playing badminton on the lawn, others down at the Sea Horse Ranch pools (which you can see), and others at the beach – all within 50 yards of one another. The community is absolutely the quietest I know of in the DR! The views of the ocean, the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks, and the breezes blowing through the palm trees are memorable. We loved the evening walks on the paths and enjoyed the starry views. The settings were perfect for our family photo shoot which help us keep these memories forever. The table on the porch was large enough for the 15 of us to eat at one place. The maid cooked the best rice and beans, we barbecued on the grill, we walked over to the oceanfront Sea Horse restaurant, and had takeout Mexican food from Gordito’s. Having two refrigerators, a buffet serving area, and massive counter space made the kitchen a hit with the ladies. The activities for the family were amazing and all so close! Two miles to the east, we took the family surfing at El Encuentro Beach. The staff there were terrific with the little kids – taking them out on the surfboards and holding them while the road in on their shoulders. We played tennis at Sea Horse Ranch and Ocean Village – both places accommodating and helpful. We went horseback riding on the beach and the kids did pony rides. In Sosua Bay, the snorkeling was magnificent. All of family wrote to us and said it was the best place and vacaever – I think you will find this to be true with your visit here!
